For the ninth episode of the Masala Movement podcast series we would like to welcome poet, writer, traveller, music lover and an all round biophilic personality Dennis Freischlad, who lives in between India and Cologne. Besides his career as a successful author he is also passionate about music.

Dennis makes good use of his impressive record collection by DJing in Bars and at Radio Stations whenever his nomadic life brings him to Germany. He has written a book about the Life and Music of Blues Musician Lighnin´ Hopkins, titled „Burning Bad Gasoline“, and made the roots of US-American music the main topic of his travel-literature book „Hymnus – In Search Of America.“

With this mix he gives us a small glimpse of his journey and influences around the world.
