Abhilash Arackal

Abhilash Arackal is a musician and music and culture manager from Cologne. He acts as an organiser, promoter and cultural actor, moving between pop culture and traditional Indian music, including stints at the Landesmusikrat NRW, the PopBoard NRW, the Sommerblut cultural festival and the Anubhab Academy.

At Masala Movement, Abhilash is responsible for structural and organisational development, fundraising and is the contact person and coordinator for projects.

As the son of parents who migrated to Germany from the South Indian state of Kerala, Abhilash is committed to increasing the representation of Indian and South Asian artists and stories in Cologne and beyond.
