Welcome to the 46th episode of the Masala Movement Podcast series. For this show we have a duo named Baalti from San Francisco. Their highly percussive and rhythm-driven style effortlessly blends UK-influenced club music with South Asian sounds and flavours. They released their debut EP in 2021 and a set of singles a year later, picking up critical acclaim from the likes of Resident Advisor, DJ Mag and Mixmag along the way. They are now releasing a much anticipated sophomore EP with Berlin based Seb Wildblood’s label All My Thoughts.
