Not only did it help him to learn a lot about how to position and manage himself as a musician, it also allowed him to play shows in the UK, Netherlands, France and even South Korea.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"703\">Being German-Bangladeshi he always finds himself struggling between both cultures, which is the reason why he also started his solo project <em data-start=\"576\" data-end=\"584\">cheffe<\/em>\u2013 here he reinvents bangladeshi\/ south asian musical elements and gives them an electronic twist.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"705\" data-end=\"835\">Ashef quickly realised that promoting less known soundscapes in Germany required him to take matters into his own hands, which is why he also started curating events for both of his projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"837\" data-end=\"960\">As part of Masala Movement, Ashef is keen on working on more representation of South Asian artistry in the European club scene.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ashef Rahmatullah aka cheffe ist DJ, Produzent und Kurator aus K\u00f6ln.
