We want to honor their life stories \u2013 which have received little attention to date \u2013 and preserve them for future generations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">To start things off, we'll focus on the story of the nurses from the southern Indian state of Kerala. <\/span><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">In the long term, the project aims to provide a platform for many more stories related to care migration. The goal is to document these migration experiences and make them accessible \u2013 to the nurses of that era and their descendants, as well as to those involved in current recruitment efforts in the care sector, the interested public, and the academic community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1185\"><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">Given the advanced age of many of the women involved, it is urgently necessary to document their experiences while they are still alive.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Mit dem Aufbau des digitalen Archivs WHO CARED m\u00f6chten wir die Geschichten von Frauen dokumentieren, die in jungen Jahren ihre Heimat verlassen haben, um in der Pflege zu arbeiten.
